Ann Elizabeth Haney (Instructor) took her first Pilates class by mistake and was hooked. She loved the way it made her body feel. Ann Elizabeth continued her practice at various studios in New York and began her apprenticeship in Philadelphia in 2004 at Vitality Studio, a program based on the PhysicalMind Institute. Three and a half years and two children later, she was certified. She has completed further trainings with Balanced Body for the Wunda Chair, Reformer Levels 1 and 2.
Ann Elizabeth received her yoga teacher training in Iyengar and Vinyasa styles of yoga from the Yandara Yoga Institute in 2004. She also holds additional certifications in pre-natal yoga and Yoga-Ed. Prior to turning her joys of yoga and Pilates into a new career, Ann Elizabeth worked as a technical designer in the apparel industry. Her style of teaching not only emphasizes the breath and proper alignment; but also focuses on the students own energy.

Favorite Pilates apparatus: Wunda Chair. Actually, it's a love/hate relationship. It is so challenging, yet I feel great at the end of each Chair class!
Favorite Pilates exercise: Long Spine on the Reformer. In my mind I am always an inch or two taller afterwards.
Least favorite exercise: It's a tie - either Neck Pull on the Mat or Horseback on the Reformer.
Loves to teach: The Tower. It brings together all of the goodness from the Mat, Reformer, and Cadillac.
Inspired by: Just about everyone. There is always something new to learn!
